I was just thinking about various Punnetts and I got a little hung up on one. Would the outcome of double het x double homo be similar to het x homo or would you produce a mix of each het? Furthermore, would the normal offspring be double hets or a mix?
25% Het. Patternless, Het. Albino,
25% Het. Patternless, Homozygous Albino,
25% Homozygous Patternless, Het. Albino,
25% Homozygous Patternless, Homozygous Albino,
Assuming the homo is recessive and my calculations are correct you'd be looking at:
25% double hets,
25% Het for on trait and showing the other
25% Same but flip the traits (one het one homo)
25% showing both traits both homo
