Housing help needed..

Alright. I'm in the process of seperating out my corns into their own enclosures. What do you guys recommend for substrate. Keeping in mind that I'd like something fairly natural to them, but easily cared for. I don't mind repti-carpet or other ideas, just no paper towels etc =)

...Since you don't want to use paper...I've used both, and do believe they look much nicer than paper...I definately dont recommend feeding your snakes on it though, as it can be ingested and cause an impaction...both aspen and coconut absorb well, keep humidity levels up and clump good when your snakes make doodies ;*)

Thanks Chris. I work in a pet store and can get to a couple different aspen products. Are you talking about aspen shavings, or the gravel type stuff... does it matter? What about cage furniture.. will they be happy under a log, do they need a dark cave type of thing??

Shredded aspen all the way. It will make them feel safer cause they can burrow.
