my female florida boxie is getting a jump start on spring! Ill post some pics asap!

Just got 5 perfect eggs. I was wondering if box turtles can be temp sexed. I am currently incubating at 81 degres. I need as much info as possable.

I will be checking laws to see if they can be sold or traded. if not I will raise them and breed them.....in 10 years!

They cannot be bought or sold, but given as gifts! j/k I wish you the best of luck with them.

From what I was told by our local FWC was that you can collect, breed, release, and give them to people, or trade. I wish the laws were different and you could have more though.

Yes, Box Turtles can be temp sexed. For males incubate at 75 degrees, and for females incubate at 86 degrees.

well its a couple weeks late, but I have them at 83. So I guess I will get some of each ? She is nexting again for her 2nd clutch
