Actually, that's one of the first things I notice each and every time I recieve reptiles. No insulation = crappy shipping job.

For that reason, I have started sending packaging instructions to just about everyone I purchase from. There's just too many people out there who think they can stuff a snake in a cardboard box and drop it in the mail. Not if you're sending it to me...

There's just no good reason to skip the insulation. It is just way too important!

That, and it doesn't appear that the snake had any extra padding with it in the box--it can slide all over that shoebox and get nicely banged up! No wonder it looks ticked in that one pic!!

So do you guys think a complaint is in order? I did think or that last one...There was nothing but sheets of newspaper in the bottom of the tub.....She has fed this morning and has calmed down.....

I don't know that I would complain...she arrived safely, though I think I would email the guy and tell him you're not happy with the way she was shipped, and give him some suggestions on how to ship a bit better--direct him to Scales website (www.exoticlizards.com I think) they have insulated shipping boxes for cheap...
