Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Just kinda wondering the validity of a fedex statement? for them to know you were shipped a dead snake, that it was dead in the package means either they opened it before you did, or that you opened it up in front of them. Otherwise it is a "filed claim" (like when you receive a broken package and call them to tell them the package at your doorstep was damaged in transit) that you received a dead snake, not a statement that they knew that the snake was dead when they had it in shipping.
So please post the fedex statement and explain a little further if it is a claim you made to fedex, or a statement by them that they witnessed the snake dead in the package.
Just looking for a little clarification.... and possibly a copy of the statement.

There should be a shipping weight on the box then put the empty box on a scale with the snake in it

I am able to verify the condition of the snake shortly after receipt by Shawn. It was a truly heartbreaking vision. The shipping box containing the snake was outside as the smell of decomposition was overwhelming even from a distance. The snake was very mushy and the deli container, packaging material and shipping box had excessive amounts of what appeared to be bodily fluids throughout. It definitely was not the same snake that Shawn had chosen from the advertisement. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was that the live arrival guarantee was not being honored by the seller. According to the text messages that I read, Michael stated that the snake Shawn had shown in his picture as doa was not the same snake that he had shipped and therefore he would not honor his guarantee. I know for a fact that Shawn has never owned a pied and has been wanting one for years. Neither he nor anyone else that he knows had a dead piebald laying around nor has he ordered any others...ever. It's crushing to watch someone go from bouncing off the walls in anticipation for his dream snake to arrive to absolutely heartbroken. Shawn is a hardworking man who has made sacrifices and worked hard to get the snake he has always dreamed of yet it is so much more than simply losing a substantial amount of money...it's a crush to the soul. I hope that this situation can eventually be resolved and although I don't think that it will ever be forgotten nor do I think the scars will ever disappear, I hope something will happen to make it hurt just a little less.

When he told me about notating it with Fedex and had a statement from from them. I advised him to send it to me. He did, it appears like a print page off a computer screen. Doing the conversation he told me he opened it at Fedex. They didn't open it themselves. After thinking about it some more he could have easily switched out the snakes then went back in and asked her to place comments.
I take pictures of all my pieds and they are labeled and their tubes are labeled. That died snake is NOT one of mine and not the one I shipped.

No one is contesting that there is a dead snake. What needs to be shown and has not, is that the seller shipped this snake. There could have been a switch pulled; and Shawn may have the original shipped snake at home in his collection.
I've asked a couple times for Fedex paperwork, and someone pointed out the difference in weights. Let's see the weight Fedex posted of the package, and the weight of the empty box.
