Sorry about your snake, if it is scarred i would bet it is a wild caught animal. LLL do not sell quality wild caught stock. I have bought 3 snakes from them, a mangrove snake which never ate on her own. A Rufous beaked snake that was skinny, malnourished & died within a week. I sent them pictures & told them i expected a replacement. They did replace it but that snake died after 5 weeks. I emailed them but got no reply. I have been keeping snakes 40 years & have had many wild caught animals from Africa but these were the worst i`ve ever seen. I have 2 other wild caught beaked snakes from other dealers & they eat like champs. LLL sells crap, at least their wild stock & i will never buy from them again. If your snake dies demand a replacement. All my correspondence was done via emails. Good luck.

No snake queen. I was saying Damn you're right to Fangthane about keeping the box. And yes I was being sarcastic about being smart because it was actually a stupid mistake that I made by throwing the box away. As I've said my responses are very delayed at the moment.

I am sure they will work with you to resolve this. Snakes that get frozen due to flight delays are not really the problem of the shipper. Some of the issues probably are from sending out a snake that was not in great condition to begin with, but why not try to resolve this with them before taking it public.
You may want to re-read the initial post.

It's skin is so bad that it can literally be pulled an inch or two away from the body. And no it's not in shed, even if it was it wouldn't look THIS bad! The snake barely moves, and never squeezes at all when being held. Also he is covered in cuts and scars, my guess is from unsupervised live feedings. I did my best with these pictures but it was with a crappy cell phone camera. I can take better pictures once I get home, but at this point I have no hope for this poor guy. I don't know what to do. Every phone conversation I've had whenever I called LLLreptile they gave me dumb answers, like make sure I'm using tap water ect. Ect.and me being the non-confrontational person that I am I just didn't do or say what I should have sooner, But things are no problem on my end because the anaconda was like this straight out of the box. I am completely shocked since LLL is such a well known reputable company in the reptile industry. I am beyond upset and I don't know what to do at this point. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Although not really applicable to this situation, are you saying that such a scenario should be the buyer's problem? If so, I think that's a very foolish statement.

Have you notified LLL Reptile of this thread or have you told them about the snake that seems to be malnourished and unhealthy?

Thank you englishaussie for your input and advice. I am led to believe that he was in fact wild caught given his appearance and the bad state he is in. I can only hope that with my loving care he will eventually thrive and turn out okay. I don't want this snake dying on me, any further advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't want a replacement, I aim to nurse my anaconda back to good health. I'm sending an email to LLL with a link to this thread so hopefully with all the help I can get my pet will be alright.

Lillyorchid if you actually read my original post I said that I've already been in contact with them about this. Sorry if that comes off as rude but I'm very stressed and you're not being very helpful.

I have tried that yeah. He is big enough to start on small rats but I've tried adult mouse (too small for him) a one day old chick, and a medium African soft fur rat (also smaller than his girth). He won't eat anything I've tried. Anything else I could try? I have to eat dinner and get my daughter to bed so I'll be back later. Thank you everyone.

As someone with a bit of experience with young WC green anacondas, I feel confident in saying that you very well may end up fighting an entirely uphill battle that ends in heartbreak. You may want to find yourself a good chick supplier and look into scenting prey items with fish, in the fairly likely event that your 'conda shows no interest in rodents.
