In addition to raising the standard on captive habitats, we believe safety to be of up-most importance and therefore integrated into every unit is a temperature alarm. This will show as an error ("E") on the display screen - as well as sound off an audible alarm that will certainly capture ones attention - if your cage temperatures reach the threshold temperature limit and also the alarm interval that you set. (The purpose of the Interval is to allow time for your heat source to cool/warm between night/day settings before the alarm systems turn on).
