My big girl corn

I have a beautiful female corn. She looks like a bloodred but she has a white band around her red spots. She is HUGE about 4-5 ft long. She is so sweet (even tho she bit me last week that was my fault). I wish I could post photos but I don't have my camera. How big is considered extra large for a corn?
She loves to be out and just crawling over me.

4.5' is not real uncommon, I had a male Anery that's now 46". Some ppl have a Bloodred about 5'... that's a pretty big snake tho. Pretty sure I saw a pic of a near 6' corn (maybe also Bloodred?) on cornsnakes.com.

I'm beginning to think from seeing a lot of pics of people's Bloods that they get a little more size than most other varieties. Ask Kathy Love about that or on CS.

lol I don't think a ton of corn enthusiasts frequent this part of Fauna. Most here prefer boas and pythons seems... Post a pic, I bet she's a beaut!

Sounds to me like you may have an Amel (amelanistic = lacking black) since you mentioned the white "bands" (borders) around the red "spots" (saddles). In other words, your snake should be a red and white combination with maybe some differences in color shade here and there. A picture would help to be certain, but your description is good enough.

She sounds like a sweet girl......maybe a tad bigger than normal corns but not too much. Adults can average between 4-5 feet pretty frequently, though most of the factors that can determine size would be feeding schedule, parentage/heritage, etc. Hope this may have helped some.
