When I go to a restaurant, I want a meal. Presentation is important, but if it
looks gross or skimpy, then I automatically assume it
is gross and skimpy, even without tasting.
I admit I didn't read the entire review - I immediately noticed the accompanying photo of a skimpy meal that looked very artistic, but was lacking in quantity. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big eater; 110 lbs on a short frame, but if an entree has a price tag of $25, $35 or $45 bucks, then I want left-overs, dammit!
Nor would I go to a restaurant in search of quail eggs, herring with crayfish, pickled rhubarb, venison tartare or paddlefish caviar, lol.
I guess I just got no class
