How the site works is that if the seller says the animal is sold, then the animal is no longer available. Like in this thread, for example.
Another way the site works is that if a mod, for example Robert Walker, implies that people ought to stop commenting on an ad for an animal that the seller has declared 'sold', then smart folks will heed that implied demand to stop posting.
Hopefully that's clear enough.
Also: if you click on the member's name, you will get a drop down box that gives you the option to contact the member by private message. Do that. If you post your email and phone number in front of God and everyone, practically throwing money around...

...someone will email or text you and scam you out of that money. You wouldn't stand in a dark alley with your wallet out mumbling that you don't know what you're doing; don't do it on the internet, either, because it isn't much safer.
