Super Dwarf Retics

Hey, so i'm more of a beginner herp keeper, i have one diamond jungle carpet python. I was just wondering if a SD retic would be a good second snake for a beginner keeper. Also I haven't been able to find a 100% pure SD retic, so any suggestions to find a 100% pure anery or normal SD retic would be great

I think Daniel solis has some pure SD stuff, I know he works with a lot of SD/D so if he doesn't have them himself he probably knows who does.

Retics are by far my favorite snakes. They have a super aggressive feeding response but otherwise (in general) are very easy to handle and work with, especially the SD stuff. As long as you get a baby that doesn't mind being handled, I wouldn't consider a SD retic too far beyond "beginner" level...although I'm sure some would disagree.

Alright! Thanks for the input Nick. They're very interesting to me so I might end up getting one

Just be sure to ask a lot of questions about the size of snake you will be getting. Best way to know is to ask how big the parents are. Some dwarf localities, while much smaller than a regular retic, may still get to be 12ft. Other localities, often branded super dwarf, can be as small as 6ft.
