A few North MS Herps Over The weekend....

In our travels around north MS, we always come across various species of cool stuff here and there, and have a habit of keeping the camera handy.... These are all specimens from Panola County, near the Sardis Reservoir backwaters, the name of the boardwalk that goes out over a swamp is Clear Springs, and it is an interesting locale to pick up specimens to photo, and release. An interesting diversity of animals, to be sure! Enjoy! -Eric Lago *MS Reptilian Hobbyists*

Here's a Shot of the blue racer....

Nice animal, for sure, just basking in a ditch on the drive over..... It was actually pretty amazing, he did not struggle or try to bite while being photographed, was kind of unusual....

A shot of the eastern ribbon we picked up just crossing the boardwalk, he's a big adult male (about 3.5' in length) and a beutiful animal all in all, very curious little guy! Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed the pics! Happy Herping all! -Eric Lago *MS Reptilian Hobbyists*
