Just found this thread from anougher forum, thanks to Mike, snakewispera snr.
Apparantly they are mites, that will eat snake mites and eggs, and wont harm your snake.

Has anyone ever used them?

I have; back about 7 years ago, I got a milksnake that had them. Not wanting to use pesticides if I can help it, I tried these and they worked great. Just as a precaution, I bought enough to go into all my cages. Never had an re-occurrence after.

Right from the company you noted in your first post, Biconet.

Are you serious? I have never heard of this type of method. The thought of little bugs crawling on the snake period makes me weak at the knees. How many people have succesfully used this method?

I know people that use them very successfully for mite infested hermit crab tanks, also for fungus gnats. Once they have nothing more to eat, they die off.
