And so no one things I am ignoring this thread I won't be posting anymore as I simply want no part of it as it is between Ed and Wise Reptiles.
Refresh my memory, were you not the one who posted the screen shot that that started this all after feeling thwarted when your offer to donate an unhatched animals was denied? See what happens when you align yourself with garbage? It becomes difficult to tell the difference between where ed ends and you begin. Maybe in the future you will think before you act. Cause and effect. It is something you should have been taught as a child. Bad upbringing or your inability to grasp the concept notwithstanding it is what it is and now you will have to deal with the consequences.

Note: You may want to have a talk with ed if you want this to stop.

127.0.0.1 is what is called a local host ip address. It is the default ip address to your own machine no matter what computer you are on.
If you do what is called a traceroute by opening command prompt(typing cmd in the run box in the start menu), and type tracert 127.0.0.1
you will see that it says localhost, no matter who types it in. It will show this whether you are behind a router, directly connected, or even using dialup.
So this one line here Received: from 127.0.0.1 shows me that it was received by the kingsnake servers FROM the local machine that pasted that information.... which of course would be ed

How do you explain Kelli's findings on post 54?

Oh, and also the 209.198.140.173 address trace routes back to king8.kingsnake.com, so that's where that ip address came from, it was included of course because of the fact that the email was sent through their servers.
Of course the other 69.147.74.186 as said before traces back to sunnyvale, ca. and to the address web84307.mail.rei.yahoo.com
Which considering the email was sent using kingsnake's servers would look like a default yahoo mail server that was used to route the email being that neither of those in question are located in california, from what I've read at least. And ip address is actually listed in the data below as being owned by yahoo isp and by the yahoo organisation.
"ISP of this IP [?]: YAHOO
Organization: YAHOO "
This information is available at this address http://www.ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/69.147.74.186

Emails go through a long list of servers before reaching their destination and this was the server that it happened to bounce through on yahoo's end.

Yes, you're correct. However, the other two IP's on that E-mail also have nothing to do with who sent nor received it. Those IP's ( 69.147.74.186 / 209.198.140.173 ) relate to Kingsnake & Yahoo. The following is a screen shot from a "Header Tracer." ( for those who'd like to trace that E-mail which Ed received...copy the header that Ed posted here http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...3&postcount=16 ...and paste it here http://www.ip2location.com/emailtracer.aspx )

Sorry for the confusion of my initial post. The header that Ed posted is irrelevant with regards to who actually sent that E-mail. It does not prove, nor disprove anything.

Thank you, Kelli. I have just one more question (if this has already been asked & answered, then I apologize).

Below is the screen shot that Ed posted. On the bottom of said screen shot is Christina's & Jeff's IP. Is that the only place, within that E-mail, where you saw their IP listed?

Actually I believe it's entirely relavant as it shows the 127.0.0.1 ip address. The only reason you should see that ip address listed in a header is if the email went out from the computer that it is coming back in to. IE sending an email to yourself
I use gmail and I am going to test this theory. If I send an email from the gmail website to my gmail account I should get the same results in the header. It should show 127.0.0.1 local host at some point in the header being that it was sent out from the same computer that is receiving it.
If one of you can find an email in one of your inboxes that came from a completely outside source that also includes the local host ip in the header then that would very easily prove me wrong on that front.

And voila! If sending an email to myself either using yahoo to yahoo or even yahoo to gmail as shown below, I will see the 127.0.01(localhost) ip address in both email headers. And as stated previously, if you can find a single email that came from an outside source that also includes this (which I have yet to be able to find after searching 30+ emails in my own inbox), that would easily disprove this test of mine.

Forgot to note, it does not matter what email address you use, you could even send an email address from someone else's email account to your own account, as long as it is sent from your computer to your computer, and you will see this 127.0.0.1 ip address.
That is why sending an email from my yahoo account to my gmail account garnered the same exact results as sending from my yahoo to yahoo.
Hope this helps some understand why that particular little bit is rather... damning, in my eyes.
