Is it ok ?

I just fed one of my bearded dragons some grapes. Is it ok to feed them grapes? LOL I hope so. I should of asked before I fed it to him. Also, what kind of fruits or veggies is ok to feed them? And what should I stay away from? (I know Iceberg lettuce can kill them {I'm surprised it doesn't kill humans } and so can fire flys {fire ants}) They are tierd of eating plain old lettuce and carrots.

We feed ours corn with kale. Boy does he love corn! We also feed him blueberries and bannas as a snack every now and then (in small doses like half a blueberry... guess large doses of sweet stuff is not good for dragons). I think he likes the blueberries more than the corn... can't say as though I blame him I do have a list of food they can eat someplace. If no one else gets back with you I'll hook you up later.

Try and avoid ANY kind of lettuce as none have the nutritional value dragons need. Collard Greens, Turnip Greens, Mustard Greens, endive, and a bit of kale are the main greens and the staple diet for adult dragons. They can eat carrots, squash, grapes, blueberries, strawberries and such for treats.

Try to keep your dragon eating ANY bug that isn't bought specifically for them, as you never know what kind of pesticides and such they could have been sprayed with, or what kind of parasites they may have.
