made some acrylic cages for my baby ETB's

I've been busy building a few new cages this summer. I made these cages out of 1/4 black acrylic, this makes super strong, fairly light water proof cages.. went with acrylic doors , hinges and came up with a way to install LED's and keep them water proof too with a clear tube.

made removable perches that can be sized up if need be.

then, I decided to build my own heat panels for the little transition etb cages 14x14x18H

panels are made with acrylic, insulated inside and will produce more than enough heat. got them set up with a controler and they are working great..

also designed them so they can be securly stacked. should be moving a few hold back baby ETB's over the next few days into there new homes.. then I wait for the moms to give birth !! fingers crossed.. these cages should be ok for up to 2 years maybe 3 for smaller males, then into full adult size cages.

here's a few more picture of the cages and of the little heat panels.
they give out between 115 - 120 deg. so getting a 82-85 max hot spot is easy with a controller.

Those cages look great! Would you be willing to divulge the process in which you use to make these? I've been looking into making some of my own cages.

They look beautifully made. Well done all around. I hope you post more pix once the inhabitants are moved in.

I would be very interested in a wright up on how to make them.
