I don't mean to burst your bubble, but from what I can see here it appears fairly normal. There can be a lot of variation in wild types sometimes.
It actually looks indentical to the ones my mom owns and most I see for sale, there's one in the adoption section right now I believe.
It has some real nice reduced pattern, but I'm not seeing the "patterless heads" personally. I think you could probably call them high-yellows.
I wouldn't label it flame race though, especially if you have no way of knowing what locality the sire was. My opinion is if you can't be 100% sure, then play it safe.
