Lygodactylus luteopicturatus
Anyone have any info on these guys?
Common name Dwarf Yellow Head Gecko.
I just wound up with some of these last week and have been working out my own care info based on like sized arboreal diurnal geckos and the geographical home range of the species.
I am afraid it is shot in the dark care.
So far they are doing well with a semi-moist environment, peat moss substrate, humidity 40-70%, day time temperature gradient 75 – 85F, basking spot 88 – 90F, night time temps 68 – 70F, Repti sun UVB 10 inches from the basking limb, feeding on calcium dusted crickets, water supplied by daily light misting which they drink off plant leaves, they also have a running stream/pond but have not been seen doing anything with it. The enclosure was a MHD enclosure so it is huge for them but it works.
Need any advice on what I can do better or things I am leaving out.
Would also like breeding/hatching info.
Like I said I am shooting in the dark on the care, by guess and by golly.
Thanks
