Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I emailed them awhile back and asked if they had an adult male corn snake for sale. I recieved an email back the next day stating they had some chinese corns for sale at $10.00 each. So I quickly got on the phone and called them. Because at that price I wanted some right away before they changed the price. I order just 1, sense it was my first time buying from them and shipping was only saposed to be $25.00. I gave them my credit card number and all my shipping info over the phone and was told my order would go out on Tuesday because that was the only day that they shipped. I asked if I could recieve a tracking number once the animal was sent and was told because the labels were done automaticly it would be a great inconveinence to get the info to me. So I figured I was only risking $35.00 and left it at that. Wednesday came and no animal. I called and asked what was going on and was told that thier computers went on the fritz and that my order would go out on the following Tuesday. I then left it at that, hoping they were telling the truth. The next Tuesday came and went and still no snake. At this time I was upset to say the least. I called once again asking what happened this time and was told I needed to talk to the owner of the company. I gave him a call right away and asked what was happening. He stated he had been looking at my order and info for about a month now and was wounder what kind of corn snake I was buying for only $10.00. I explained what one of his sales reps ahd told me and about all the conversations we had had over the past month. What his response was "Where could you buy an adult corn snake for $10.00?" . I said I was hoping from you because that is what I was told, and I had told some other people that I did not want thier snakes because I had found the one I wanted. He said there was no way he could sell an adult corn snake for that price and I said I thought it was really cheap but I understood his employee made a mistake. I then left him my phone number and said to let me know what he could get me for an adult male corn and the price. I called back 2 more times with an excuse everytime. I then left it at that and told him not to charge my card or I would dispute the charges. And to this day I have never heard back from them. So think what you wish, but this was my experince. Frank

I had almost the small thing happen to me. They had fatail geckos forsale on their website at a great price so I ordered 3 1 male and 2 females and was told they would be shipped Monday, Tuesday came and No geckos. I called them and was told the price was a mistake, so I told them if they were not going to give to me at the price I already paid for them then forget the order. They did agree they would sell them to me at that price, when they finally did come it was 2 males and 1 female, all with very skinny tails. I wrote to them to let them know of the mistake and NEVER heard back from them. I kept the geckos and was able to get them fat and healthy. Good luck Charlie Peterson

Thanks for the info. Doesn't sound too reliable. I've bought a monkey tailed skink from them that is suppose to ship Tuesday. Hmmmm, sound familiar? I have already spoken to the owner and recieved two e-mail replies. I guess we'll see.
I'll keep ya posted.

This is bad. Talked to the guy that was suppose to send the skink from Dallas. He told me he sent it Tuesday. Guess What?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> It was sent regular UPS. So, next question. Do you have a tracking number. No, the person that takes care of that is home for a family emergency. I called UPS. They said from Dallas to my house should have taken 2 days. Should have been here Thursday. So now if they did send it the poor thing will be sitting at the UPS station till Monday. Thats 6 days without water, food, air. Plus its not legal to send animals regular UPS service. I'm not sure who to report this to but I want to do that. Plano Pets is the name of the place it was suppose to come from. Now, Felton, the guy from Reptile City, who actually sold the animal to me said call Plano Pets and see what is going on. The guy at Plano Pets said Felton is the one who wouldn't pay to have the skink shipped over night. Well, thats where it stands as of now. Of course the money has already been collected. What a rip off.

I am almost positive that if you provide UPS with the date it was shipped and complete address from where it was sent they can find a tracking # for you.

All sounds the same from these guys. I ordered a lizard cage from them not too long ago. I was going to order a few snakes also but decided to see how this went first. Well the cage was supposed to be here in a week. 2 weeks went by and still cage after a few phone calls I was told the cage was accidentally sent to the wrong customer and they did'nt know this because the person they sent it too did not tell them. Imagine that. Anyway they offered me a discount on my next purchase to make up for it. I said no thanks refund my money and they did.

Got the address and checked with UPS but they have to have the senders shipping number which is different than a tracking number. Its a six digit number. My chances of getting that number are next to none or worse. I'm sure the guy would just tell me that he doesn't have the info and that the person that does, is out on a family emergency. How frustrating!!!!

bad bad bad!!!! i would be on the phone bugging these guys every day. first of all, you order from them, you assume you are getting it from them, not some other person. you pay them for overnight shipping, that is how you should get it. no animal like that should be shipped ground. i'd be pissed. i would demand your money back immediately--even if the animal shows up, it probably wont be in good shape. i dont know how anyone in this biz could treat a customer and an animal like that. i dont care what kind of emergency the owner is having--this is a pet store--didnt he leave someone in charge? i bet they know how to process refunds. and you should not being calling this other guy who sent it--you bought from reptile city, paid reptile city--they should be handling this situation, not telling you to call some other person and do the leg work on your own.
