I've been on the phone with members on the committee, the clerk on the committee, and just talked to Andrew Wyatt of USARK to confrirm that SB 477 will be tabled for the year. No need to show up in Richmond tomorrow, we are safe for this year.

I do not get why they keep doing this while I am training new staff! Every one of these important dates occurred during training.

I'm glad to hear it! I will still send my email which outlines some facts about these snakes and tries to clear up some misconceptions. It might spark them to do a little research next year as opposed to blindly following organizations like HSUS, ASPCA and PETA. I hate the fact that now I feel mad when I see the HSUS commercials as opposed to sad. It makes me dislike HSUS even more and prompts me to donate to my local SPCA.

YAY!!!!!!! I'm really glad cause 1, I would use my vacation, but I'd rather not have to; 2 we can have some time to plan and honestly I feel less stressed, but it's no time to relax!
