Any info on the stores security system may be helpfull for thoose of use who own shops. Info on the method of entry woudl also be appreciated.

I am always looking for new ways to protect my store, cameras, bars, ect. So if it is an orginized ring, responding to adds on ks to "scope" for the theft, its likely only a matter of time before the local well runs dry, and they decide to travel.

For example many years ago my first store was broken into. I had bars on the windows, metal doors, and was on a corner lot often used by the police to sit and bust drunks/speeders. As such I thought I was pretty safe. Well sure enough they found the weak spot, by cutting a HOLE in my back wall and entering that way.

As such I made sure my new store was brick, to hopefully avoid that problem. I also have a TON of cameras, bars on the windows, bars on doors, triple bolts on some doors, multiple locked doors throughout the store, Im on the busiest street in town, and last but certainly not least I have 3 tennants in the building above the store, one of whom is a POLICE OFFICER. So I feel relatively safe at the new location, but any ways to improve always helps.

Sorry to hear about this both CFRB and Petrepublic, its a shame people try and come up this way.

This is getting out of hand. Too many people are getting ripped off. What are we supposed to do....Get a Rocking chair and a loaded shotgun..... I am sure it can be arranged. Just remember. Pull them back inside if they fall out the door. I heard you should make sure they are dead or they can sue you.. Sucks when it comes down to this..... I am sorry but I am so sick of good hard working people getting ripped off by the scum and the lazy of the earth...

my 2 cents...
