Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Boa Enclosure Question
I am wondering what other breeders are using for boa enclosures. Anyone using a rack system? If so, what size(s) are you using? Thanks

I generally use 4'x2' for my adult females. I use cb70 racks for my males and raise ups. I do have a couple 4'x30" ap's for larger adult females(9-10ft). I run heat tape and herpstat nds/pro's. Good luck.

I use 4x2 cages for my adult females, and I have some smaller species (ie BCL) in 3x2s.
I do have a Vision boa rack - which offers a 3x2 floor area. It's functional, and I've kept 6 ft females, and 7ft carpets in it.
Other than that, I use 41qt AP racks for my growers and young adult males. (Hope to be adding an ARS 8018...but I may have AP make me something to hold CB75 tubs)

I custom built this rack system for my adult females. The upper cages are for my females and right now I keep my smaller females or males in my other rack system or in the smaller 2 cages on the bottom of this rack. Larger cages up top are 5 x 2 x 1 and smaller cages on bottom are 2 1/2 x 2 x 1.

Thanks Jeffrey. It actually wasn't that hard. I got about 25 hours into it, cost of materials was about $250 for everything, including heat tape etc. I would consider myself just about a rookie when it comes to wood buidling, I'm not real precise just yet.

I am in the same boat on skills. Ive learned cage building takes skill, but the tools your working with help the outcome. I like home depot, buy a 4x8 sheet and get 6 free cuts!

Here is the first "rack" system I built. I sold it for $500 to fund the latest cage I built.

Nice! That's not a "rack system" its an "entertainment center"! Who ever bought it got a great deal at $500 imo.
