Is a UTH Necessary?

My temps on the warm side with a 150 watt ceramic zilla heat emitter is 85-90 and cool side is at 75... is that good or do I need a UTH also?

that sounds fine the way it is, almost too warm in fact on the hot side at 90, tops at 85 is usually fine.

I agree, the temp is a little too high for a corn. Though i do have to question, from where you are getting your readings at? Is it on the bottom of the tank or higher up? Corn snakes need belly heat to digest their food so as long as the bottom of the tank is reading 85(ish) on the warm side then you should be okay.
