Man with reptiles charged with animal cruelty in FL

Take down this name, folks, and make sure you don't sell animals to this man.

TAMPA, Fla. -- A Tampa man faces animal cruelty charges after investigators found dozens of dead and dying reptiles at his home.

Police arrested 29-year-old Winston Tsai on Tuesday.

Hillsborough County Animal Services says officers found snakes, lizards, spiders and two underweight hybrid wolves in the apartment. The surviving animals will be treated and turned over to rescue groups for adoption.

Police were notified of the animals by a neighbor, who said the smell from Tsai's apartment would fill the landing outside.

Tsai was charged Tuesday with three felony counts of animal cruelty. He was later released on $6,000 bail

And apparently this "winner" is a member of our fauna community, but hasn't been heard from since August. Be warned, everyone!

Sadly, this is the kind of person that is most common in the the exotic animal trade- these people will tell you that they "love" animals- what they love is to keep them in cages. It is a sick, sick industry.
