"Leopard" spots? Common?

Hey
A few people mentioned about the spots on a gecko and they said that they looked like actual leopard spots.. Does anybody know if spots like this are common? I think I might look around for a female that has spots like this.. it is just on the head but I think it would be neat if the whole body was covered with spots like that... Anybody ever see a gecko with spots like this before? I never even noticed until now.. Thanks -Jon

What I am talking about is the spots on the head... They are like a circle with an open space in the middle... I see a few on yours..

yeah some of my normals have more of those type spots than others, they tended to fill in more to a solid spot with age too.

Breeding for head patterning is something I have heard talked about. I have not seen any results or specific breeding groups put together by any anyone. If it's something that interests you than by all means go for it!!

hey thanks for the replies..

Wendy this guy is about 2 years old, his spots turned into that as he aged... I am going to look around for females like that to breed with him... That would be awesome to get a full bodied leo with leopard spots...

I bred this guy too and it didn't pass on to his babies, atleast that I noticed. I saw them a few weeks ago and didn't notice if there head looks the same. I don't think it carried on because the female I bred him too had normal spots.. -RZ
