I think most have agreed Wai bought a sexed pair. In buying a sexed pair, you have paid group pricing. Why would one that argues they did not receive a sexed pair, settle for a partial refund and still not have a sexed pair, especially since he's trying to get you that sexed pair in the end?

Because if having a pair is the end goal, having one half of a pair is better than not having any? Jon himself said that he would refund the $ if both animals were returned.....which makes no sense.

In some instances I could understand wanting a partial refund on the incorrectly sexed animal but I think the seller in this instance does have a good track record and is intending on making right the situation. Maybe I have more patience than the OP but whatevs. My wife would side with the OP. She wants everything yesterday.

That could be true, but the OP already purchased a sexed pair from another party. Just seems odd that he would be so adamant about keeping one male after basing his complaint off of wanting a breedable pair when he supposedly already has one.

I would also want both geckos back to ensure the party is accurate in their sexing. While Jon did receive photos and agreed, we are not certain it was of the "female." I have no reason to believe Wai would do this, but mistakes could happen.

Agreed. After post #20, I think the OP knows this was an honest mistake and no trust was violated with the original sexing. Anyone who knows the slightest about geckos and sees that both parties saw an obvious bulge difference between the "pair" should be able to see this as a mistake that should warrant patience. Of course patience is relative, but I wouldn't strong-arm a seller over an honest mistake and say trust was violated this soon.

From August 2 when I first told Jon I think both of them are males until today I still didn't get what I paid for, do you think I am impatience? How much longer you think I should wait to post on here?

If he think it is a mistake, he should fix it right away, instead of ignored me after Oct 23 ....I sent him two emails but never hear from him after Oct 23 !!

Telling the breeder in August you think they are both males and providing proof they are both males in October are two different things. You even claimed that one didn't appear to be a sure male until October.

Please read the email history again, Jon agreed that it is a male on Spet 5. I don't know what wrong of you believe that Jon is the "victim", but as what I said of the beginning, I just wanted to warn people about deal with him even I may never get what I paid for.

Assuming we are attempting to operate as regular business folks, if we bought a set of anything else, say dishes, and part of that set was flawed, the store would not give you 1/8 of your money back and let you keep the other 7 good dishes. You would have to return the entire set.
I agree that a large amount of time went by without communication due to personal issues, and you have every right to be anxious about that. But these are relatively rare animals, and they don't show up every day, or month. He is willing to make this right, as soon as he has the animals to do so, or to refund the money for your set. If you can wait, I think you'll be happy that you're dealing with Jon.
