Jesse Wisecup

I made a post on another thread about Jesse Wisecup, I was going to let it die but I had SEVERAL people emailing wanting to know the story and also people wanting him to be “Exposed”. I did not make this a good guy/ bad guy thread but rather just an info thread so you can draw your own conclusion.

Jesse, please remember as you read this that I said, “I have gone much further for less..” to which your reply to me was “Alright Chief”… That is where you threw down the gauntlet …

Here is the story and the emails which left me with the feelings that Jesse is a thief, a liar, placed an animal in harms way and plays the role of “I’m just a kid” when he sees fit:

On a message board “Bee Hunter” posted a pic of a blood python under “Adopt me”.

This is where I came in and wrote him an email and I sent him a Money Order after I talked with a few people to verify who had produced the snake.

I asked him to please contact me after he had gotten the Money Order so we could make sure I was going to be home. He did not do this and just sends out the snakes tracking number. I was able to arrange my schedule to be home for arrival but here is where the real nightmare began and the snake was already in transit,. I had paid the 75 dollars for overnight shipping but the tracking number showed 2 day shipping, only to arrive on Saturday, and if the package was misplaced, well Monday was Memorial Day and the mail does not deliver that day.. . I quickly wrote Jesse :

anything could be done to get her here faster. Something was not adding up and
after I called UPS I figured out what it was.

As if you cared for her and wanted her to be well taken care of. I always do
some checking on someone before I do any transaction with them and I did the
same with you.

Even after they explained it to you you came back with: "I have a friend who is certified if you send me a M.O i can have her ship to you."
This was all told and explained to you at the beginning of April.

UPS does not ship live animals, which you must have known so you told them it
was a stuffed animal. NO label on the box with "HARMLESS LIVE REPTILES" and NO
holes made for breathing. You wanted this snake to go to a good home, but you
cared nothing about how it got there?

I sent you 75 dollars for shipping ( most of the snakes that I have shipped are
about $70 for overnight) but you decided to run with $33.75 to be added to your
pocket. If you had shipped as you had claimed I am sure she would have made it,
however I am sure her chances now are slim to nothing that she will arrive
alive.

I have done all I can do at this point to help her chances; my suggestion to you
is to first start off with calling UPS. What you have done is against the law,
you may not only incur state charges, but also federal charges because it
involves crossing state lines; this is animal cruelty! I will expect a money
order for a minimum of $33.75 if she gets here alive and $75.00 if she does not.
I did not pay for 2 day shipping of $41.25; I paid $75 for overnight. Unlike you
I will be honest about her arrival conditions.

I am extremely upset that you did something this inhumane. Doing this horrible
thing so that you could pocket $33.75 shows lack of character and no
integrity...I am appalled, as was UPS when I had to explain the situation to
them.

Next time speak with Abby about how to ship.

She was loaded with mites,a RI and the first 3 days was opening mouth breathing
but I got her to the vet and she is doing better.
I do still expect you to do the right thing here and return the
$33.75.

Because he has changed his ways or Because I sat back and waited until I could pin him down better . When he said that he had gone back to the message board, I went back to look at his profile there, He had not been on after our last emails in July 2008. Here is a screen shot of his profile there,

Now you are free to draw your own conclusions, and I will end this with, my experience with Jesse was not good at all, I personally would not even give him any animal after what he did to this one and the poor health she was in when she arrived.. how far can a person like the above change in such a short time? At what age do you stop with the “I am just a kid” routine and accept your responsibilities?

There is absolutely nothing there that bodes well for an individual starting out in this business, nothing at all. It appears that the child/young man initiated a deal where the entire transaction was based upon deception, [and the interest of the animal was knowingly and with disregard placed very last]. A very poor showing indeed, disgracefully so.
Thank you Matthew for pursuing this when the small amount of money obviously was not your motivation, but rather accountability for shady dealing to say the least.

I have a feeling that if he had truly changed, he would not have lied to you about trying to find you. Rather, he would have apologized and asked your forgiveness even though it took so much to get him to make good.

If the only reason he made good was his impending exposure to the community of Fauna, however......

A minor cannot legally enter into a contract, so where does that leave someone when he decides to pull a big one? He's already shown several times that his attitude sucks. Well..... i did give jesse the benifit of the doubt not long ago in another thread with his i'm just a kid routine and not really knowing much about him or having seen this thread untill now. i do have to agree that the im just a child act is done with and over rated and should be held liable for his own actions. another thing that bothers me is that i made a statement about some ohioans messing things up for other ohioans on the net with there crooked,shady,lying and stealing ways and jesse agreed and acted is if they were scum when in fact by reading this thread shows he's not much better than them and uses the child excuse excessively. i am glad you got your money you were owed and good luck on getting that guy back to good health.

Pretty much, I had a good clue when I spoke to the lady at UPS that he was young, she said it in so many words, that along with the lable of "Stuffed animals" .. I mean who does that ?
