Just want to let everyone know my experience with this past weekend's Repticon held in Perry, GA. My drive there took almost an hr and a half. Normally I wouldn't mind driving that far for a show but this time I did. When I arrived, I was wondering if I was in the right place since there was only about a dozen cars in the parking lot. I walked in with my kids (btw, this was around 2:30pm). Sadly, as I went in, this was the show. There were more vendors than attendees and half the vendors were dry goods suppliers. Worst show I've ever been to! Repticon already started ruining the show atmosphere by giving the frozen rodent rights and sand boa rights to 1 particular vendor for each. They also don't list the vendor list til the last minute. I guess this prevents people from planning ahead NOT to go! I mean, c'mon-does it really take that long to list the dozen vendors that will be at the show! 1st and last time I'll be going to that show-hopefully people can learn from my mistake...horrible experience!
