As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Freedom Rankings. How does your state rank
on individual and economic liberties. Interesting tool that you can adjust the weights given to each section based on what is important to you. I was surprised to find some states weren't ranked as high as my perception of them.

Want to mention that the report and rankings are preset for a libertarian bent. But it does work for all.
If your more a progressive then you can adjust the slider for areas of more concern to you. You know, things that favor nanny state protections, friendly climates for sexual orientation, drug laws, etc.. While at the same time suppressing the natural rights of others in economical achievement and self protection. Championing the rights that you see are important while taking away the rights from others you don't think they deserve. You know, big government intrusion into the daily lives of individuals.
The control over the population you want.
If you are on the opposite side of the spectrum, feel free to move the slider to where you have greater economical freedom, self defense protection and protecting the natural rights you believe that are important while at the same time suppressing individual freedom on a personal level. If you want to slap both sides over the head and tell them to leave you alone, that regardless if you are personally more conservative or liberal you don't care to force your beliefs unto another and would rather not strip away those natural rights that are less important to you because you wouldn't like the same thing to happen to you, then just maybe the slider is preset for you.
