Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Denver All Pet Expo, May 22-23
I just got word on this one (Thanks Dana Pennebaker!)...
There will be an All Pet Expo in Denver CO on May 22-23...
More details later this evening.
Since the Colorado Herp Society cancelled their usual spring show, we've been left without a local show for some time.
We're hoping for a good turnout of vendors and "shoppers" :-)

That bad huh, I'm glad I didn't drive down for it. Still wish there was something in the area though. Oh well, maybe someday.

Sean,
Yes, it was that bad. There was three reptile vendors. One had baby bearded dragons. Another had dart frogs. The third was a nasty pet shop from NM with nothing but wild caught animals, and seriously whacky prices.
The rest of the show was birds and puppies.
Try to make it out to the Colorado Herp Society show this fall... While it won't be GREAT, it will be much better than this one I just went to. Most of the local breeders will be holding back all their offspring for the fall show, and that should make for a decent turnout.

Sorry about that (hope you got my pre-warning email)--the one in NM was terrible too.
And I cannot believe that NM pet store went all the way to your show--must be desperate. They opened their shop just down the street from me about a month or two ago and I cannot tell you how many complaints I've heard. I know animal services and usda has been called on them several times.
They also have the nerve to try to start a NM reptile show 2x per month at the same venue that the REAL NM reptile expo has been using for years. People showed up confused and then pissed when they found that this guy was the ONLY vendor!!!! Like any town can sustain a show 2x per month, much less Albuquerque! I heard a couple people drove in from some distance thinking it was the regular show.
Anyways, we are all up in arms here over those people too.
Hope they had the smell under control at that expo more than they did here. One of those puppy booths stank big time!

Good! Keep on them. They're an embarrassment. If they show up at the fall show here, I'll be on fire.

It wasn't horrible. The screaming birds were much worse.
