These are third generation animals hatched on my farm here in Sunny South Florida.
They are well adapted to this environment, eating great and growing fast.

Currently these animals live outdoors so again they are well adapted to natural environmental conditions. If you’re planning on creating a pen outside these animals are your best bet. Not all animals make the transition from indoor rearing to outdoor life easily (Depending on age and environment of course)

how can you tell the sex at that age???

I'm wondering that too

The same way you tell their sex when they are older.
We have been raising spurs for over 20 years and after looking at them that long and watching them grow up, you get an idea of what to look for.

Now I will say this, if I have 100 4” animals I am probably willing to speculate on about 20 of them so at that age I would say you still cant sex 80% of them but there is about 20% you feel pretty good about.

If they are 5” to 6” Animals the percentage goes to about 30%. Remember that’s not a 30% chance of sex determination.
That is almost 100% sex determination of 30% of the animals you look at.
