Past near misses and future worries...

Ever wonder how many significantly sized objects are out in space that may come close to impacting the Earth?

Well here's a NASA page that tracks them -> http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/ca/

If you click on the object name, you can also view a graphic animation showing the predicted orbits.

Check out the SIZE of some of them....

Watch how close it gets to Earth late in July of this year...

Look at the one that just passed on March 16th. It was less that 1 lunar distance to earth.
