Did you buy the one off he site with the sig on it or customize it?

Midwest will custom make one for you with the same design if anyone is interested. I got mine with no sig and different grips. For $10 more than list price, it was well worth it IMO. Very versatile hook.

I received the standard one as a gift this past Christmas. I'm happy with it.

That's... interesting. The O'Shea hook that they sell was just a model of a hook they had previously sold for years, with a new color to the shaft and the signature printed on there. Initially the O'Shea hook was marked *up* from the generic version. If they're now charging ten bucks extra to get the old version, that just sounds shady as hell, which would be a surprise... but there it is.

Seamus,

Look at the NBA, and NFL shirts; they are made of the same material as other shirts that you can buy for half the price elsewhere! The prices are dictated by the demand I guess...

The part connecting the hook to the shaft is black (I didn't like the red), both grips are thick foam instead of the a combo of one foam in the middle and the rubber one on the end, no signature (I didn't like that on it).

This one is a bit rough since it's seen some use since I got it.
