another question

i've had my baby bearded for three days...for almost two days it's been in bark substrate that the pet shop recommended at another location, then i bring it home to a bigger tank but with the same bark substrate, so now he's been in thr bigger tank for 1 night, then i hear that paper towel is better for a baby bearded, i was jus wondering if he is already trying to get to know his envirement or too used to the bark or should i take it out the bark and fix it up wit thr paper towels and put him in there....whould it change too much or he'll be able to get used to the paper towel.....i need to know asap so i know if i should make thr change or not.....and since he's been in his new tank, he won't eat his crickets...what's up with that????

Get rid of the bark.

Baby Beardies tend to taste everything, or can very easily eat some of the bark accidentally while hunting, get impacted, and get very sick or die. None of the particulate substrates should be used with a baby Beardie.

Paper towels are much safer, and easier to clean too.

And FYI, you can always put multiple questions on the same thread, instead of starting a new one....we will usually get to them all in one post.
