Ok I am going to be purchasing quite a few cages shortly and was wondering what your preferences are. I love the Boaphile cages in black they are sweet. Also precision caging has some very nice cages with light fixtures installed and are about the same price if not a little cheaper, but they dont look as nice. Just answer what kind of cages you prefer even the old standby's Vision and Neodesha <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> This is not what cages do you use because I know that like me many of you have more than one kind i'm just looking for your preference in function, looks, ease of cleaning, and best display.

I dont need advice on racks cause the boaphile racks stole my heart lol

For chameleons we use all screen cages. For our Uro's and Dragons we use the melamine cages (keep the heat in well).

Actually i have found it to very easy to clean. It also saves more time then with my other glass cages and some of my rubbermaids too!!! &nbsp;

I currently use 90% Visions caging but after seeing what Freedom Breeders has out and talking to Lindy I am totally sold. &nbsp;They are more practical and allow you to keep more animals in the same amount of space, with more ease when it comes to cleaning or removing an animal from the cage. &nbsp;Their design is great and the product itself is extremely well made and durable. &nbsp;If I could afford it right now I would convert all my caging to Freedom Breeder cages. &nbsp;

Cages

I have to agree with Tim on this , but it all depends on the direction you choose to go in keeping snakes i guess?.Me i like the look a habitat gives for you / the snake and all who see them.There more costly to purchase & more a pain for maintaining them but the overall look to me is worth it .But like i said if you're keeping more then 20 snakes racks or stackable cages is the way to go . But then as mentioned you have to look at lifespans of cages versus replacement costs after a few years of use with some on the markets today.
just my .02
