That is pretty much my dream Ceratophryidae. Did you get yours as a "baby"/juvenile or as an adult? Did you find your specimen "hard to keep"? What did your specimen eat? Lastly, did you find yours to be a "picky eater"?

I love Pyxie frogs. I am hoping the juvenile I am raising is a male. Do you have any recommendations to help me find a large male C.B.B. Pyxie frog?

Yes, the first two links worked. The additional links did not work. However, you truly had one amazing looking specimen! I am sure your "new friend" will look just as fantastic!

I got my first one as a WC adult, it died a couple weeks later even though it was eating well. Then I purchased a cb baby. Surprisingly the WC was not picky and started eating silk worms and crickets. The cb baby ate anything I offered. Here is a picture of the cbb baby that grew up.. I miss him!:

Yes, faunaclassifieds had some large 8 inch males for sale last I checked. Here is a picture of one of my males I had..:

Thank you, I am really excited to raise a cbb baby Aurita! I am so amazed that I was able to find a Aurita at all! They are very well known in old documentaries and books. I have an old frog book with a "Giant Brazilian Horned frog" pictured.
