I know boas and i said the same thing, this is not a squaretail boa it is a normal common boa.

I also just feel bad for anyone that thinks this is an actual squaretail and buys it.

Just my 2 cents.

I have had a few breeders take a look at her today and they said that they think it is a central american ladder tail which means I lost out but she is still a very nice snake and i am lowering the price to $150 to anyone thats interested.

I don't know that this is the place to discuss what is and is not a squaretail, but both look just like the squaretails produced by Gray at AllBoas, John and Rich at Salmonboa.com, and Pete Kahl.

Thanks Daveyfig. Its not lik im asking a ton of money for her either. she was sold to me as a squaretail 50% het for albino and thats what i believe she is. I dont think she is a great example of one but she definitely has all the characteristics and looks like the majority of the pics I have seen.

Enough already.
If people want to discuss how to differentiate between squaretails and ladderbacks, please take it to the boa discussion forum (or to PM, or chat, or one of the social groups). Once it has been stated that somebody feels an animal is misrepresented, the information is in the ad & potential buyers can consider it....continuing to debate the issue within the ad is simply not acceptable.
