A simple..... yet.... not so simple question

I just got back into ball pythons i was at a reptile show today and purchased a 1300g spider female , a breeder size clown male het for ghost...... a 1000g+ 100% het clown female..... my question is.... do i purchase another male for my spider or should i make spider 100%het clowns? i cant find anything on a spider clown... and i really love bumblee bees but i want to take another route and "explore" should i get a female ghost and breed the clown to her? any advice would help maybe someone local can help me out

I say get a Hypo female. Then breed your male Clown to your three females.

why spend money on another male if you don't have to,
sounds like you're going to have some awesome babies though.

waiting on this guy response for that o.ghost female :/........ if not, pastel female it is...
I really hope its a good year I can use this I had a rough year last year it wasnt good at all

I had the same thoughts in my own case. But not every male will breed every female.

My only male won't breed, when all of my female were ready. So I bought another male in a big rush.

After that, my old male start to breed.

So sometimes is good to have more than only one male.

If you do get another male, I suggest a super pastel...that way you're passing on the pastel gene no matter what.

I'd go with the Clown, Spider Clowns are awesome.


If not, I'd go with a double gene male, like a Pastave, Firefly, Pastel Enchi, etc. Or a Super of something... BEL, Ivory, etc. That's me though

I would get the hypo female. But another one that I havent seen mentioned yet is one of the leucistics That would pass on some nice genes to the babies.
