Just out of curiosity, what is the longest time anyone has let a cut clutch go before attempting to pull them out? Not saying I am doing this but I am curious just incase they decide to go another 5 or 10 days without even sticking their heads out. They are all still moving around so not worried about them, its more of being worried about the eggs decomposing since they were cut 8 days ago

I had this issue with a super clutch last season I finally went and pulled the ones that would not come out and the reason they did not was they were Kinked up. Not saying that's what is you situation but just a bit of info. Make bigger cuts in shell to see if all yolk is absorbed or twisted up in umbilical cord
