Mites in spider tank? How do you get rid of them?

Hey, does anyone have any suggestions on how to safely de-mite a spider and her tank? I changed the bedding in the tank and there was some new plants near her tank and this week there were hundreds of brownish red mites. I'm working on getting them id'd now but in the mean time I need to get rid of them. Are there any pesticide free and spider safe ways to get rid of them? I cleaned her tank out with soap and water, I wasn't sure if bleach was safe for them or not. I would love any suggestions, thank you

She's a pink toed tarantula. She's on coconut bedding with live plants.

I have had this same problem with t's and other inverts, there are companies that sell predatory mites that will eliminate your problem naturally but they are not that cheap and only sold in quantity so if you have a large collection its ideal. I use these http://www.arbico-organics.com/produ...ects-organisms in my invert tanks and they work really well

Thanks for the advice, we use something like that for our horses to but I'm trying to avoid having any bugs in there beside the t lol. The guy at the pet store thinks they look like aphids and came off the plants.
