This is Noah, who was sold to me as a male. I'm not so sure...

I wish I'd had someone to hold him- it's hard to get nice pics with one hand.

Still- he's a year and a half old. I would think there would be some evidence of spurs...

Last one. I see nothing. But I don't really know what Rosy spurs look like.

That's a female.
Probing, if that's how the breeder decided sex, is unreliable in rosies.
I've seen females probe as males before.

Great! Now I have a female named Noah!! (Because I bought her during that whole tropical storm Noah thing...)

So, if you have hatchlings, how do you sex them? Popping? I hope the breeder didn't actually bring the wrong snake to the show, to sell...Since he told me he had this snake's anery sister back at home, for breeding.

I sex them visually only.
No spurs = female in every case I know.
Spurs = 98% chance male, there are time females will have spurs, but they will be diminutive when compared to a males spurs.
