That is an adult male.

But they don't seem to have the subtympanic shield on the lower jaw like the pic of his iguana does. I admit it has been awhile since I have paid much attention to iguanas and never owned other than a green.

I was looking at the pics of the green iguana you had pictured. That is definitely a rock. But the femoral pores you showed were of the green iguana????

now i also posted on another website (herpcenter.com) "Well, to me it looks femalish....the pores are small...you didnt include a side shot of the tail....to check for the hemipenal bulge, and her head is streamlined...tho she does have some orange colors to her (I had a female who colored up orange every breeding season sooo) I would lean towards female, tho dont quote me...the tell tale sign is the laying of eggs LOL....Good luck....she is very pretty....."

no i have a green rock iguana yes they were the pores of a green iguana would shots from the side of the tail help
