Uh. Eggs. Totally Unprepared!
Alright, so over the winter one of my racks had died, so i had to buy new flexwatt and such.
But in the mean time, i double housed a few of the snakes, Males with Males, females with females. Or so i thought.
Turns out, one of my male Het albino ball pythons, ended up being a female ( as i later probed her, and i think posted a thread on here about it)
Well. She laid eggs today. Not quite sure on how many, i haven't moved her, because frankly, im terrified to* i dont want to mess up the eggs, and i have nothing for them!*. The temps in my rack ( i checked again heather! i was in a rush the first time!) are 85 on the hot side, where she is, but ive since turned the T'stat up a bit to get it a bit warmer, at least until i get a temporary incubator set up.
But of course, i forget which male i stuck with her ( either the pastel or the spider * I THINK * ) but really, it could be any of the males at this point.
So. Im freaking out, just a bit. but excited at the same time!
No pictures, not right now, i dont want to bug her. but maybe down the road.
Basically, im looking for any tips, or advice if i should just let her incubate them in the rack, with raised temps ( ill do the best i can) or if i should pull them once i get an incubator set up. * im going to be in a mad rush to get all that stuff too!!! UGH!*
I was totally not ready for this!!!
