Yeah, when I was a kid living in Maryland, there was one stream where I used to catch baby snappers that was lined with the stuff. Here in north Florida we have a form of nettle that doesn't tend to grow in clumps, stays small, and has little white flowers. Just a nuisance if you are wearing shorts and sandals and brush your ankles against it. I will uproot them by kicking them over whenever I find them.
