Question Feeding new born garters

Hello everyone,
Just wanted some info on the feeding of baby garters. I had a litter born 5/28. When should they begin to eat? I offered them guppies and blood worms today 5/30, but they don't seem interested. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Many neonate snakes will not eat until after their first shed. The young snakes continue to use up the energy from their yolk sacs so you don't have to worry about them starving right away. It is fine to offer food and it will not be harmful if they eat before they shed. Good luck.

Louis...
Like Aaron said, give them a few days, and then try....You can try a variety of prey; small slugs, 1/4" crickets, small earthworms, beetles on top of guppies and bloodworms...garters rule, bud, enjoy them and post some pics if you can...peace
