So I'm almost finished planting, about two weeks in, and I find that my hydrotron is molding! AHH! The set up has been quite difficult and I would hate to take it all apart...is there anything I can do to stop it from growing??
This is about 1/2" deep with window screen on top with dirt directly on top of that, and moss planted atop the soil. But the rest of my tank has this same ground and it would be devastating to have to pull it all up.
For a croc skink enclosure 80 degrees and basically 100% humidity is needed. Is a drainage layer more trouble in such high humidity? Should I take it out and just mist the pleants without ever worrying about water build up?
Anything helps, thank you.
