Red-eyed Tree Frog Problem

My father has a student that is having problems with her RETF. I'm extremely new to keeping frogs and haven't seen this problem myself so don't know anything based upon the description I received.

It seems that the frog has devoloped little white spots on it's back that turn black. It also seems lethargic to the student. As I'm approx. 250 miles away I am having to offer suggestions as to cause and solution. Their nearest reptile vet is a minimum of 120 miles away.

I have suggested cleaning the enclosure and all non-plant decorations with bleach followed by a mild detergent and huge amounts of repeated rinsing to make sure that no bleach or soap residue are left behind. Then change the substrate.

Also suggested increasing the calcium dusting of crix to 3 to 4 times a week just to make sure that she is doing so. Along with this I stated that she needs to make sure the temps are a warm enough and suggested that she research it herself but approx 78 to 84 degrees would not be too warm.

Please give any suggestions or answers, especially if you have seen anything resembling this before. Wish I was of more help but that's the best I got this evening. Thanks in advance.

Saw my dad (first time poster) got a bit confused but also got some assistance from the mods who moved the post to the correct section. Thanks, guys.

Lack of ventilation and excessive humidity. Please pardon brevity.

No problem with the brevity. I had wondered about that, so I was partially correct in initial diagnosis but lacking in other areas. Thank you.
