Here is the latest response from FCR and my reply to them. They are refusing to refund my money, saying that I agreed to wait for the chams to come in and it is too late for a refund. If you have the patience to read it all, great. If not, long story short is that i asked for a refund in April. ANd, note that the email address they said is not monitored was what I used to communicate with Nick Mole and the one he used to respond to me -- until I asked for my money back and then no more responses from that email address.

Andy,
I never agreed to wait “until you had the animals”. I agreed to wait until APRIL 2014 because that’s when you said you would have them. We are well past any reasonable waiting time. When I communicate with you guys about waiting, you get right back to me. When I ask you to be honorable and refund my money after an entire year, then it takes a Board of Inquiry post to get you to respond. Honestly, I expected better from FCR. I can forward you all of the prior emails about waiting until April for the new shipment. I do not want the chams now. I have been asking for a refund for months and months. I have been more than patient. I would like that refund now, please. See the email chains below. I asked for a refund in APRIL and again in JULY and again in August. You offered to refund the money (See your email to me telling me the chams were dead). Now you are telling me it has been too long and therefore you won’t refund it. Does it sound as ridiculous to you now as it does to me?
Please refund via paypal in the next 48 hours. I have given you every opportunity to make good on this. Do the right thing.

Theresa,
I have very sad and disappointing news to deliver today. After all of this waiting, we came in this morning only to find both of the females that were supposed to ship for you today had inexplicably died. I'm not sure what happened, but it is incredibly disappointing for us, as I'm sure it will be for you. I know you have been waiting on these, and they were the only ones we received in this shipment from Tanzania. I'm so very sorry to have to tell you this, but unfortunately these things happen from time to time (I'm sure all this crazy weather had something to do with it), and I suppose in some ways it's better that it happened on our watch than after you received them. At least this way you can still recover your funds, though I know that does nothing for the animals lost.
We have three things that we can do from here; one, you can choose to wait until we get another group of these animals in and then we'll send you another four, two, we can offer you a full refund, or three, we can send you the two animals we still have, which look quite good, and then we can either forward you on the other two animals when we receive them, or we can refund you for the remaining two. We will do whatever you'd best prefer, and I'm so very sorry that these options have to be considered at all. It's certainly not what we would consider a normal or ideal scenario.
I hope you can understand, and thank you so much for your patience up to this point.
My condolences, and all our very best as always,

Theresa, when you spoke with Nick about this order originally, you had decided to wait on the order until we received the animals, which we were more than happy to do. We have not done anything to mislead or confuse you the entire time, and are now able to fill your order as initially agreed. I apologize, but we are well past the period during which we can offer you a refund. We can offer you a full credit if you'd like to order something else, but otherwise, we'd like to fill the order as originally agreed. Please let me know what you'd prefer to do.
Best,

Theresa, we didn't receive a single one of these! I'm terribly sorry if it seemed we were ignoring you; absolutely not our intention, but I do see them now, and am totally happy to chat about what's going on. As I mentioned before, we haven't gotten the Chameleons from the time we decided to wait on them until now, but I do have excellent news; we are supposed to be receiving them in a Tanzanian shipment at the beginning of next week (assuming no unforeseen delays). So we can forward them on to you, as originally planned as soon as they come in (and once we get them settled in post-transport). Hang tight for another few days, and we'll get you all sorted out! Thank you so much for your patience up to this point. I wish that we could have had those guys in 10 times by now, but unfortunately, it's been very difficult getting Tanzania started again after that 2 year export embargo that they had.
Best,
-Andy
