Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

2011 Ferrari Hypo Pastel
I got this guy from FedEx today courtesy of Chris Canada-Smith.
This, ladies and gents, is a 2011 Ferrari Hypo Pastel, and he is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone needs one of these in their collection, I've decided. Lol
My digital camera is borked, so I can use is my husband's Droid for now. I snapped a few quick pics when he got home outside. The first one is in direct sunlight, the rest are in the shade. But the sun was already quite set.
Still, the amount of color this animal is dripping with is absurd and he isn't even completely "fired up" right now.
Currently, he is nameless.
Love this guy's tail.
These guys have completely white bellies. It accentuates the color by being such a contrast from one point to the other.
Why, hello thar!
Enjoy!

I was happy to send him to a good home, Diem. I still can't wait for your reaction after you feed him for the first time.

Congrats!
He's a real stunner, just beautiful colors! I'm loving those pinks!
The picture of him in your hands made me melt. I'm so used to seeing them in tubs or on a blank canvas background that I forget just how small they start out as. Simply adorable!
The 'hello thar' cracked me up too, it was the moustache pattern that sealed it for me.
You'll have to let us know what name you decide on~

If you don't mind me suggesting a name, Luigi, off the movie "Cars", was obsessed with Ferrari's. Just sayin...

Those are actually my husband's hands. But yes, I totally know what you mean. It's so easy to forget just how tiny these guys start out at, but it is amazing to realize when you are holding one that is completely wrapped around your body or stretched out seven feet in front of you and you remember the day it fit in the palm of your hand. For me, there is no feeling like it.
He does have a pretty epic goatee thing going on, huh? XD

That made me laugh pretty hard. I was messing with Chris earlier by saying I was going to name him "Lambo" for Lamborghini. But ... I have a theme of mythological diety names so I am going to stick to that. He's not the only little one without a name as of right now.

Whoops! Sorry!
I think perhaps the arm hair should have tipped me off. In my defense though, your husband has pretty fingernails!

I can't tell you if it's supposed to be "as" or "at" there, but I fully agree. They really do grow up so fast, nothing beats that feeling.

I always love it when they have that!
In his pattern I'm seeing a gentlemanly 'stache and bowties on his back. I'm thinking he's all dressed up fancy, so where's he going to go...?
All he needs is a top hat and cane now~
Yes, I do need to keep my imagination on a leash.

Lol I told my husband he has pretty fingernails and he just gave me the strangest look.
I love the 'staches that boas tend to sport, even the soul patches. Lol I'm actually thinking he may end up being Adonis, for obvious reason. :-) How's that for fancy?
