That I believe was added by the user. If they were actually a contributing member they would have coins next to their name. I also believe that anyone can lock a thread not just a contributing member

I will also be filing a dispute via paypal. I do have the email correspondence for those interested.

Robert, could you please post all the email correspondence for everyone to see and read.

Thanks

I thought you had to be a contributor to bump the thread? It was the only way to avoid seeing what was transpiring with that ad.

Here is the entire thread. I thought I asked all the right questions, but apparently all in vain.

Of course

Tuesday should be fine for shipping

I am aware of the shipping process and will be using FedEx if you need that information.

I sent payment thru paypal. I will need to have you ship her to my work address:

Robert Franklin
Lankford + Associates
1730 Walnut St.
Kansas City, MO 64108
816-305-6039

It looks like Wednesday would be the warmest day next week for receipt. Would you be able to ship her out Tuesday? I assume you are familiar with proper shipping (heat packs, packing, etc)?

I have it closed so people will redirect questions to my email and not ask on the thread, since I'm much more likely to see them here

(If you go to your User CP, there's a box that says manage your classifieds - this is where you go to lock/unlock threads and highlight/bump, if you weren't aware.)

Just one more question. Why does the ad say "thread closed"?

That would work for me. I will send payment thru paypal and I will indicate that the remaining balance is due upon receipt. What is your paypal account email?

I understand

One thing I could do is a 50/50 agreement, if that would help. Half of the payment now, then half after you receive her and have had a chance to look her over

I would like to get her. Is there anything at all that you could do to make me feel a little more comfortable since you don't have any references? Again, nothing personal.

I own a pair of pastels and 3 normals.

My sole reason for selling is because I'm in a bit of a financial strain right now and this is forcing me to cut down on my collection.

I bought her as a hatchling from a local reptile specialist (projectreptile.com is the store's website.)

I guarantee anything mentioned in my thread, including sex, live arrival, and 30-day health guarantees

I'm not sure how I didn't see this; terribly sorry about that! She is 1100 empty

(Sorry, but I don't conduct businees over the phone. I realize this may affect your decision to do business with me, and I respect any decision you make.)

Thanks!

While I don't want to discourage constructive discussion, these topics are off topic to this thread. Feel free to raise them in the Fauna Feedback Forum. (Please keep in mind that BOI threads/topics need to be kept here, and not dragged into the other forums)

I thought scam right when i seen that ad in the classifieds, sometimes if its too good to be true it probably is. Cmon guys this 'tracy' had like 1 post when she put that ad up, it has scam all over it.

I hope u guys get your money back. Only buy from reputable people and ask if they have references. Good luck.

I agree, but on the other hand I have gotten some awesome deals on here numerous times and had no problems. Sometimes it's worth taking a gamble, but knowing what your limitations are. I should have followed my gut on this one, but live and learn.

That statement sends up red flags to me. If you can't give me a phone number I sure in the hell can't send you money. I have found that if you follow that rule you have less problems down the road. Good luck to the both of you in recouping your money if you can.
